27c3: Must-See lectures/talks (Part 1)

(english description here, download link at the bottom)

A few days ago, I was on the plane to Singapore, when I decided to put my iPhone aside and give the on-board music and video library a shot. The quality of the screen and the headphones is still improvable, but the selection of music itself really is great.

Besides some asian-dub, classic-music and a nice-to-see collection of music videos from india, there was one album I didn’t expect:

With his first production in 1993, Mark Pritchard made dance Floors vibrate. After that he released works under the names “Global Communication” and “Harmonic 33″, among others. Now he presents a record which is clearly inspired by the original techno sound of Detroit.
